The GJS Graduate Internship programme is a new funded scheme to offer graduates the chance to work in businesses & gain valuable employability skills. The scheme is aimed at unemployed graduates, ideally from 2008 or 2009.
***You must have permission to work in the UK for the duration of the internship period.***

The Employer:
Artswork is a national independent youth arts development agency specialising in work with young people aged 12 -25, with a focus on those deemed to be at risk. As well as direct work with young people Artswork also provides a range of creative services for professionals using the arts in their work with young people.
The Opportunity:
An intern working full-time within our Artswork Academy Department will enable Artswork to increase our direct delivery with young people and enable Artswork to provide more opportunities for young people at risk to engage with creative activities.
What will be the principle duties and responsibilities:
• Assisting with the general day to day administration of the Artswork Academy;
• Promoting events, opportunities and resources to young people across the South East;
• Developing new departmental databases;
• Supporting project delivery work;
• Supporting events and training courses;
• Working closely with Chief Executive re development of ‘Cultural Takeover Scheme’.
