Specific duties will include:
1. To assist the Marketing Officer in implementing the College’s Marketing Strategy.
2. To use technology and a range of media to promote the College and its activities.
3. To contribute to the production of the Prospectus, the Adult Learning and Skills Brochure, the Business Services brochure, Course Profiles, Brock News, the Employer Newsletter and other materials.
4. To further develop distribution lists for publicity purposes and ensure that comprehensive, correct and up-to-date information about the College consistently reaches its market.
5. To further develop liaison with the media to highlight the College’s achievements and developments and to produce frequent press releases about various aspects of College activity.
6. To work with a range of staff in the Lifelong Learning and Enterprise and Sixth Form College in the marketing of full-time and part-time courses for employers, adult learners and 14-19 year olds with a particular emphasis on marketing to employers and adult learners.
7. To assist in the updating of the College website.
8. To contribute to market research and analysis, including competitor analysis.
9. To promote the use of the College and its facilities outside the traditional college week and term times.
10. To increase awareness and professionalism of marketing throughout the College by working with college staff as appropriate.
11. To attend appropriate external meetings to further the College’s interest and promote the College within the community.
12. To assist in the advertising of the courses, facilities and services of the College.
13. To contribute to the organisation of College Open Evenings, and other events, activities and campaigns.
14. To represent the College at a range of recruitment events and other promotional activities.
15. To promote the College internally to students, staff, governors and visitors.
16. To contribute to arrangements for displays and exhibitions.
