Dear ##FIRSTNAME##
Welcome to the January edition of the GJS newsletter. We work in partnership with the region's University Careers Services to deliver a recruitment service to students, graduates and employers in the South. You may have heard that the government are planning to introduce a 'National Internship Scheme' which will enable students to work at a reduced rate to gain experience and to help them acquire skills for work. At GJS we are keen to advertise any regional internships, placements and or work experience that would help your business and also the students and graduates. Did you know you could advertise these opportunities on the GJS site, just like you would a job? If you already have an 'account' with us simply log in and add the details about the placements, as you would a job. We then promote the opportunity to our candidate database and in our partner universities. Using GJS is a cost effective way to raise the profile of your business and any opportunities you may have for FREE. If you would like further information about this service please email graduate.jobs@solent.ac.uk

Please note the RSVP deadline of Tuesday 3rd February by email to graduate.jobs@solent.ac.uk This event is kindly sponsored by Business Link
What employers have said about GJS:
Victoria Haffenden, Smith & Williamson, Southampton: "We had a good response in terms of the number of quality candidates who have applied. I found the site to be very user friendly, well presented and easy to use. We will use GJS again to post all our graduate level positions".
Derek Morgan, Blue System Inc, Southampton: "I would like to say that from the employer's point of view the service provided by GJS has been really excellent. The website is nicely laid out, easy to use and welcoming to visitors. The facilities for entering, editing and viewing job vacancy adverts is straightforward and the ability to include graphics and with few restrictions on format was much appreciated. I have used the services of similar websites from other Institutions and none of them have provided such a good source of candidates and with such a pleasant user experience as GJS. I will definitely use GJS again when I get the opportunity."
