Ocean Careers 09

Ocean Careers is an annual event offering endless recruitment and career opportunities within the ocean technology, marine science and offshore industries.

Even if you haven’t studied or considered a career in this industry before, Ocean Careers will help you realise how your skills whether they are in engineering, science or mathematics can be utilised in this vast, exciting, forward thinking and extremely diverse industry.

Taking the current state of the global economy into account, it is clearly becoming harder for many graduates, postgraduates, newly qualified engineers and the unemployed to find work. Why not broaden your horizons and possibly transfer your skills to an industry that in the last few years has seen unprecedented and continuing growth coupled with rapid development technologies applied to ocean survey and research and an ever increasing shortage of skilled staff.

You’ll be surprised at the number of exciting and challenging global career opportunities to choose from and the hundreds of companies who are desperately trying to fill positions.

Put Ocean Careers 09 in your diary today!

Feedback

"I believe Graduate Jobs South is an excellent resource for graduates looking to work in the area, it was certainly the first point of call for me. I found it very easy to use, I applied for around 4 jobs through the website and actually got 2 interviews from that, so all in all I found it very positive."

- Nathan Bailey, Graduate

"A CV should be 2 pages and we look for 3 or 4 lines at the top, summing up what the candidate is all about. It is this that makes us decide whether we read on or not"

- David Fawcett, HSBC
