Dear ##FIRSTNAME## Welcome to the February edition of the GJS newsletter.
GJS works in partnership with the region's University Careers Services to deliver a recruitment service to employers and students and graduates in the South.
Many employers are choosing to advertise placements and vacancies via GJS because we are cost effective and easy to use: | | “Currently, we are all looking at cutting costs, and employing a new graduate via GJS my opinion, is a very cost effective solution to staffing needs. As an international charity and a local employer it is not always easy to attract the right calibre of staff. GJS gives you more opportunities to tap directly into the student network. Students are eager to learn and eager to gain experience, and can be moulded to suit your own business needs.” Jan Webber, Director of Fundraising and Marketing, The Sailors’ Society | |

Advertise an opportunity with us and reach thousands of candidates Our extensive database contains a cross section of graduates, including postgraduates and students who have all expressed a genuine desire to work in the regional area and who are from across the UK and beyond. The database is a mixture of those who are about to graduate, recent graduates and also graduates that have already built up substantial amounts of work experience, in conjunction with their studies. If you already have an 'account' with us simply log in and add the details about the opportunity you have. We then promote the opportunity to our candidate database via email and the website and in our partner universities. Using GJS is a cost effective way to raise the profile of your business and any opportunities you may have for FREE. Why not attend our free lunchtime event in partnership with Solent Synergy on the 11th March to find out more? (details below) If you would like further information about this service please email graduate.jobs@solent.ac.uk
