Some candidates submitted directly to me whilst others were sent in a batch once the closing date had activated – both methods were fine.

Extremely high, we were very pleased.

The interview process

Candidates had a first interview where they prepared a presentation and then second round interview was another presentation and a role play journalist interview.

How this scheme differs from the way you normally recruit

This is the first time we have ever done graduate recruitment and think we will definitely do it again.

What advice would you provide candidates when applying for jobs?

Always include a cover letter.
