The calibre of graduates applying for the role
The graduates that applied for the Design and Marketing role were of a good calibre, with the majority of them having relevant degrees. They all arrived to interviews in a smart and professional manner.
The interview process
We interviewed 6 graduates for the position with a director. 2 of these then returned for 2nd interviews with both directors present. They had all conducted research on our company and demonstrated drive and professionalism.
How this scheme differs from the way you normally recruit
We normally recruit via agencies or the paper. The process wasn’t that much different from what we normally.
How can we improve our service?
Service is good as it is.
What advice would you provide candidates when applying for jobs?
Be on time for your interview. Research the company, be honest about your abilities. Most companies are looking for someone who will roll their sleeves up and bring a ‘can do’ attitude to the role.
