 I saw an advert on graduate talent pool, which led me to the GJS website.

Applying for the internship – tell us how you did this:

 Through the GJS website, I wrote a covering letter/CV etc.

What made this role attractive to apply to?

 As a graduate building surveyor, this was an ideal match for my degree as this was a technical role.

Did you apply for more than one internship?

I have in the past but this was the first internship that directly related to my degree discipline that I had the opportunity to apply for.

Tell us about the interview process with the employer:

Circa 45 minute exam to ascertain my technical knowledge of buildings, followed by an interview.

This will start on July 5.

Are there any ways we could improve the GJS graduate internship scheme or the GJS Service in general?

I have been very pleased, and grateful for the opportunity to have my first break into a career in the property/surveying industry.
