Have your own team of Public Relations (PR) students running a campaign for you this year - free of charge!
Final year PR students from Southampton Solent University will be working in teams to run PR campaigns for local charities and not-for-profit organisations.
The students will come and pitch their ideas to your organisation with the hope of carrying out the campaign if successful.
The benefits to your organisation:
1. Students will create a personalised PR campaign in line with your aims and objectives which could:
- increase awareness about your brand and organisation
- build relationships with key stake holders, including other organisations, volunteers, recipients, etc
- organise events and provide experiences to engage your audiences.
- provide a social media strategy to enhance your online presence and boost your fundraising.
2. You can gain from the skills, knowledge and expertise of our students.
3. You will be helping our students to gain valuable work experience and allow them to see their work in a real life situation. In doing this you will also be helping to prepare future graduates for work in the charity/not-for-profit sector.
4. You will create/improve links with the university and our students and increase awareness of your organisation.
5. and of course, all our students are volunteers so it will be free-of-charge!
It is anticipated that the campaign will be agreed with you before Christmas and be delivered and completed by May 2012.
